CAKE DAILY
What Is Cake Daily?
Cake Daily is The Express Truth Show’s rapid-response live reaction format, hosted solo by Mark. Unlike the scheduled weekly shows, Cake Daily can drop at short notice whenever a major story, controversial topic or important conversation needs an immediate response.
The best way to describe it is as a breaking-response stream — almost like an emergency broadcast for the community. When something happens that cannot wait until the next scheduled show, Mark goes live to break it down, react in real time, add context and give the audience a space to discuss what is happening.
The Purpose
Cake Daily was created for moments when the conversation is moving quickly and the audience wants more than a headline or a short social-media clip. The format gives Mark the freedom to go live at the last minute and give a direct, independent breakdown while the story is still developing.
Why The Audience Trusts It
Over time, Cake Daily has become one of the most trusted sources of reaction and commentary within The Express Truth community and its growing presence in Black British media. The aim is not simply to chase a trending topic, but to question the narrative, add context, separate facts from online noise and give an independent Black British perspective.
Premium Black Media
Cake Daily is an important part of why The Express Truth Show carries the Premium Black Media label. It represents independent media that can respond quickly without losing the depth, accountability and community focus expected from the wider platform.
